The baby boy was welcomed in July 2020 via surrogate, and since then, Khloe and Tristan have opted not to reveal the child’s name, just his gender. The child’s name was a major plot point in The Kardashians Season 2, with Khloe struggling to find the right name.
Amid a media tour in the runup to Season 3 of the reality TV show, Khloe Kardashian hinted that her son’s name began with the letter T.
This revelation had been teased on the show, with Kris Jenner, the family matriarch, joking that Khloe should name the child Travis to complete a trio of Travises tied to their family. The Travises Kris referred to are Travis Scot and Travis Barker, but then Khloe disclosed that the name will eventually be revealed on the show. It appears that Khloe and Tristan couldn’t wait for a few more weeks, as they have finally revealed the name of their son.
The baby boy is named Tatum Robert Kardashian. The middle name Robert is in honor of Khloe’s father, who was arguably the first famous Kardashian.
Robert gained notoriety as a member of OJ Simpson’s legal team in the 1990s. However, the name Tatum is somewhat of a mystery. Khloe and Tristan named the child after Tristan’s ex-teammate, Jayson Tatum. On the other hand, Tatum is said to be an old English name, meaning cheerful and full of spirit. As of now, Khloe and Tristan seem to be at least cordial despite their on-again, off-again relationship.
Notably, Tristan has expressed his desire to reconcile with Khloé, but his repeated public infidelities have caused her immense heartbreak and humiliation.
