WWE Star Randy Orton Might Not Return To Ring Ever Again

The wrestling future of Randy Orton is in jeopardy as the WWE star is urged by doctors not to return to the ring. The iconic veteran is still recovering from back fusion surgery and he hasn’t wrestled competitively for almost a year. Randy was last seen in the ring in May 2022, when he and Matt Riddle lost against the Usos in a title battle.

Orton’s future in the sport is recently thrown into doubt as his father Bob Jnr claimed medics urged, he shouldn’t go back into the world of WWE.

Bob Jnr told Sportskeeda‘He’s training, so we’ll see what happens; I don’t know. ‘If he feels like he’s ready to go back, I think he might, but again he’s pretty well taken care of. I don’t think he needs to. ‘And I think the doctors have told him not to. But Randy will do what Randy wants to do.’ The Viper is no doubt a wrestling legend and has so far earned himself 14 championship titles

Currently, the WWE is said to have no long-term plans in place for Orton and there is also no word on what effect the time off could have on his contract. As the DailyMail, WWE has been known to add on the time talent is out injured onto the end of their deals. The 2023 WWE Draft has officially taken place and Orton wasn’t available for selection, suggesting he is a long way off a return.
