The lifestyle guru is the magazine’s oldest-ever cover star, flaunting a bouncy blowout, a dewy makeup, and looking decades younger than her actual age of 81 years old. Martha Stewart shared this milestone on Today Show this morning, where she unveiled her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue 2023 cover. Isn’t there anything Martha can’t do?

As seen, Martha modeled a plunging white Monday swimsuit one-piece [$192] along with a billowing orange cover-up by Torso Creations.

Of her pose and outfit, the cookbook author said with a laugh on the show, “I like that picture,” and admitted she was sort of shaking. And of her experience, Martha claimed it was odd to be photographed in swimwear, in front of a lot of people but then it turned out OK. It’s fitting that the chef is one of this year’s cover stars, especially as has become famous for her sultry selfies and even released a merch last year.

As for her Swimsuit photos, Martha appears to be taking a major moment in stride. She told the Magazine“When I heard that I was going to be on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, I thought, ‘Oh, that’s pretty good, I’m going to be the oldest person I think ever on a cover of Sports Illustrated. And I don’t think about age very much, but I thought that this is kind of historic.”

Martha continued, “Age is not the determining factor in terms of friendship or in terms of success, but what people do, how people think, how people act, that’s what’s important and not your age.”

Back in February, she had revealed her secrets to taking perfect selfies. She told Page Six at the time, “Work your best angles and project the jaw to look up towards the camera. Also, make sure you are optimizing lighting.” However, Martha was photographed by Ruven Afanador in the Dominican Republic, sporting 10 elegant swimsuits including a sassy red Norma Kamali one-piece and a lace-up maillot by Isa Boulder.
