The ‘Bejeweled’ singer has been linked to different people including Dylan O’Brien, the actor from her “All Too Well (Taylor’s Version) (10-Minute Version)” short film, Fernando Alonso, a Formula 1 driver, and Bradley Cooper.
A new rumor has hit the internet that Swift is dating the lead singer of The 1975, Matty Healy.
The Sun claims to have obtained details of the relationship from a source who shared with the publication that both parties are “massively proud and excited about this relationship.” Notably, the pair have been close friends for a long time, and at Matty’s The 1975’s concert in London’s O2 Arena in January, Swift surprised fans with a performance.
At the concert, the 12-time Grammy performed the cover of The 1975’s The City as well as Anti-Hero for the first time.
Matty in an October interview with BBC Radio 1 alongside George Daniel, a member of The 1975, refuted rumors of a collaboration with Taylor Swift, stating “Oh no, we’re not [working with Swift],” Healy explained. “We’d love to. Love to work with Taylor Swift. Love Taylor Swift. Think she’s one of the best songwriters.” Matty also jokingly added, “She’s probably sat there watching this, pining for a feature on a 1975 track.”
Swift has been traveling the country for her “The Eras” tour since March 17. She opened the stadium tour in Glendale, Arizona, and it will conclude in L.A. in August.
The news of the pair’s relationship, however, comes as Swift called it quits last month with British actor Joe Alwyn after six years of dating. According to ET, which was first to report the news, “it was not dramatic,” and was “amicable.” A source further told the outlet, “The relationship had just run its course. It’s why [Alwyn] hasn’t been spotted at any shows.”
