Billie Eilish had been known for her big, baggy clothes, but recently, the 21-year-old seems to have upped her fashion game, opting for a more feminine look. Earlier this month, the singer looked breathtaking in a black lace gown custom-made by Simone Rocha for the 2023 Met Gala.
Eilish alleged that her decision to expand her fashion style has since had an impact on her fan base.
She told Marie Claire Magazine in 2021, ‘I lost 100,000 followers, just because of the b**bs.’ However, Eilish has continued to clap back at her critics, and just recently, she posted on Instagram what she called a “letter to some comments.” The singer wrote, “I spent the first 5 years of my career getting absolutely obliterated by you fools for being boy-ish and dressing how I did & constantly being told I’d be hotter if I acted like a woman.”
“And now when I feel comfortable enough to wear anything remotely feminine or fitting, I change and am a sellout. I can be both,” she added. “Let women exist!” Eilish further stated, “FUN FACT! Did you know that women are multifaceted!!!!??? Shocking right?? Believe it or not women can be interested in multiple things” “Also that femininity does not equal weakness???!!! omg?! insane right? who knew?? And also, totally unheard of and insane to want to express yourself differently at different times”
Last but certainly not least, the star told her haters, “s**k my absolute c**k and balls you women hating a** weirdos.”
