Posted by The Gossip Girl star has broken up with blonde hair! ‘It Ends With Us’ has just begun and in first photos from the set of the movie adaption of Collen Hoover’s bestselling novel, Blake Lively is seen rocking her character’s fiery RED hair. She appeared to be filming a scene with co-star Justin Baldoni, who plays Lily Bloom’s interest, Ryle Kincaid and also directing the flick.
As with wearing her character’s bright red hair, Lively for her outfit choice opted for a pink T-shirt, a pink jacket and a brown gown, and a patterned handbag.
The film marks her first time back on set since giving birth to her 4th child this winter. She and her husband Ryan Reynolds have not announced the new baby’s name.
In 2016, Hoover published “It End With Us”, and said the story was inspired by her parents. In the novel, Lively’s character, Lily meets Dr. Kincaid and starts a relationship with him that quickly becomes abusive. In between, she reconnected with her childhood love, Atlas. The film is directed by the Jane the Virgin star Baldoni in his directional debut.
Brandon Sklenar plays Atlas, Jenny Slate joined the film as Ryle’s sister Alyssa. On his Instagram, Baldoni teased they have cast someone as the younger version of Lily, but the actor is yet to be announced. However, social media users weren’t feeling Lively’s look, as one person joked, ‘Does the plot of this book hinge on the female lead looking like sh*t, because making Blake lively look this bad is kind of a herculean feat.”
Another responded, ‘She look like one of them art teachers that won’t let you near her coffee cup.’ A third also demanded, ‘The it ends with us wardrobe team needs to be fired IMMEDIATELY.’ Also seen on set was Lively’s actress half-sister Robyn Lively, although it’s unclear if she’s also appearing in the movie or was just visiting. On the other hand, Hoover also seems to be very involved with the film and has been posting updates on Instagram.
