Posted by At the recent PlayStation Showcase, a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed Mirage was made public by Ubisoft. It’s regarded as the follow-up to the 2020’s Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and serves as the latest addition to the stealth-action video game series. It will continue to chronicle the story of street thief Basim Ibn Ishaq in 9th-century Baghdad.
The game, which will be made available on Sony PlayStation 4, 5, Microsoft Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC, will stray away from the open-world concept, choosing a linear adventure with closed environments for stealth assassinations. Notably featuring the Assassin’s Focus vision to mark and assassinate various targets at the same time.
Interestingly, Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be introducing microtransactions for in-game XP boosts and cosmetics. Also, many elements from past games are making a return, including the corner swing, elevators, and the ability to vault over objects.
