Hank Green is diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma! Currently, the YouTuber is wrestling with the reality of being seen as someone struggling instead of as a goofy science guy. The Crash Course host claimed he will play his channel by ear following a planned break from posting due to his cancer treatment

In his video titled, ‘So I’ve Got Cancer,’ the 43-year-old explained the good and bad news of his cancer diagnosis, including treatment plans.

He told his subscribers‘It’s one of the most treatable cancers. It responds very well to treatment. “The goal is a cure.” Hank is planning to undergo four months of chemotherapy, which he described as a “fairly well-known treatment, if unpleasant.” The dad to son Orin and wife Kathrine Green also noted, “This is now part of how people are going to imagine me.”

Hank continued, “It’s like an identity that I’m having thrust upon me, which happens to people all the time. And it’s totally the thing I will get over.”

The SciShow host’s brother, John Green didn’t appear in the video but left a heartfelt comment that read, ‘I love you. We all love you. You’ve got this.” The 45-year-old Fault in Our Stars author also left a good movie and media recommendations and requested the same from fans as long as they film with zero bummers and the lowest stakes. However, the brothers are best known for co-creating VidCon and producing the VlogBrothers YouTube channel.
