With May the Fourth drawing near, LEGO has begun celebrating Star Wars Day by releasing new sets that commemorate the 40th anniversary of Return of the Jedi. To honor both the milestone and the upcoming holiday, LEGO has provided fans with the opportunity to recreate famous scenes from the movie using a range of buildable sets and collectibles. 

Until May 7, LEGO is featuring attractive deals, such as the Death Star II set with purchases over $150 and a miniature X-Wing Starfighter set with purchases over $40.

Additionally, VIP members of LEGO can obtain a preview of the latest edition of the X-Wing Starfighter set, which will be officially released on May 4. Members are equally eligible to receive a special con set with any purchase over $85. Signing up for the VIP program is effortless and cost-free, requiring only a short registration procedure. 

Arguably, the battle between Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader remains one of the most iconic moments in Return of the Jedi. The new Lego set recreates the Death Star, consisting of 807 pieces that fans can assemble. The set also specifically includes minifigures of Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader, each wielding their lightsabers, and Emperor Palpatine. Lego plans to release an updated edition of the iconic X-Wing Starfighter, the beloved aircraft revered by fans from the Star Wars trilogy and Star Wars: The Mandalorian. This Ultimate Collector Series set, composed of 1,949 pieces, features several new features that its predecessor lacked. The wings now have a dial on top that enables the pilot to switch from flight mode to attack mode, while the cockpit has been redesigned to open and house the R2-D2 LEGO droid figure. The set also comes with a Minifigure of Luke Skywalker and is completed with his signature lightsaber. The X-Wing Starfighter will be available for purchase to all customers starting May 4, but Lego VIP members can order it right away.
