Posted by Journalist Yashar Ali obtained and published a leaked Ring clip that appears to show YouTuber and conservative commentator Steven Crowder in a heated argument with his pregnant wife, Hilary, on their patio. The footage, dated June 26, 2021, shows Hilary heavily pregnant while the influencer smokes on the sofa. He was heard banning Hilary from using the car because it would mean he couldn’t go to the gym or see his parents.
Reports claim the influencer and his wife have been in the process of divorcing since 2021.
“You’re gonna take the car and leave me here? Hilary, just think of how boxed in you’ve made me,” he said. Crowder also asked Hilary: “How do you respect men?” and told her to “become someone … worthy of a wife.” In response, the heavily pregnant Hilary, who seems distressed said, “‘I love you. But Steven, your abuse is sick.” She also told him that she “needs some space.” Crowder then replied, “The only way out of this is discipline and respect.”

Ali’s report states that the argument grew more intense and Hilary ultimately left the house. The leaked video comes only a few days after Crowder announced on his podcast, “Louder with Crowder,” that he was going through a horrendous divorce. “I have been living with a proverbial boot on my neck for going on years now. Since 2021, I have been living through what has increasingly been a horrendous divorce,” he said on the podcast.
The YouTuber added, “And no, this was not my choice. My then-wife decided that she didn’t want to be married anymore. And in the state of Texas, that is completely permitted.” His ex-wife’s family has sent a statement to Ali, alleging that she had hidden Steven Crowder’s mentally and emotionally abusive behavior for years while trying to save their marriage. However, they hoped Crowder would refrain from speaking publicly about these personal matters in an untruthful way.
