In his July/August cover story for Men’s Health, the former California governor opened up about taking steroids in the past, including Dianabol, popular among bodybuilders, and testosterone. Arnold Schwarzenegger insisted he only took performance-enhancing drugs under a doctor’s supervision and encouraged today’s bodybuilders to stay healthy and avoid steroids altogether.
‘One hundred milligrams a week,’ Arnold Schwarzenegger said of his testosterone usage, ‘and then three Dianabol a day, so that was 15 milligrams a day.’
Schwarzenegger added, ‘Bodybuilding always, always was considered a safe sport. But now it’s not. Now people are dying, they’re dying because of overdoses of drugs and they don’t know what the f**they’re doing. “They’re listening to charlatans. If I want to get medical advice from a doctor, I go to UCLA or I go to the Cleveland Clinic.”
The actor also insisted his past use was nothing compared to the steroid abuse he’s seen today. “Don’t go there. Yes, we are at a time now where we always look for the easy way to make money, the fast way to get rich,” and the easy way to be an influencer.’ Anytime you abuse the body, you’re going to regret it. So, I just want young people to know that I have seen people getting kidney transplants and suffering tremendously from it.” He concluded by admitting that now, he simply trains to stay alive and be able to make his movies.
Arnold Schwarzenegger Shows Off His Firepower In Netflix’s New Action Series
The movie action hero Schwarzenegger is apparently not retiring soon as he has just reloaded on Netflix. The one-time box-office titan stars in the new film ‘Fubar, his first TV series. The actor in the eight-part action comedy from Nick Santora [currently streaming] plays the retiring CIA Agent Luke Brunner, who’s forced back to the blow-up business after realizing his daughter is also a secret agent.
Schwarzenegger in the Tv series showed off some vintage moves. The character is appealingly described as the fastest 65-year-old on the planet after dispatching foes in one skirmish. This description has left Schwarzenegger very proud, as he reportedly says, ‘I am sold as a 65-year-old, but I’m 75. I feel I’m in a very good place.’ However, if you have seen Santoro’s past work like Prison Break, you will know what to expect.
