This year's theme is Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty.

Naturally, we can't wait to see what celebrities have and dish out their inner Chanel for the event!

But there are rules to follow!

And hilariously enough, several celebrities have been caught in 4K breaking them!

1. No selfies!

The rule was added in 2015 to stop celebrities being glued to the screen too much at the event.

Kendall Jenner broke it!

She's one of the biggest rule breaker as she managed to get a huge group be in one of the most iconic "forbidden" group selfies of Met Gala!

2. Seat arrangement

Celebrities' invitations come with the instructions on their seating arrangement.

3. No smoking

Indoor smoking ban came out in 2003 in NYC & the Metropolitan Museum of Art isn't exempted.

But Bella Hadid, Dakota Johnson and Marc Jacobs were caught in this iconic moment.

4. No under 18s

This new rule was implemented in 2018 as a spokesperson explained, "It's not an appropriate event."

5. Food bans

Celebrities enjoy the best of cuisine at the event, and they're all under direct orders of Anna Wintour, such as no parsley, garlic, and onion!
